FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We understand that a person who plan to enroll in a driving school can feel overloaded with new information, and will probably have questions that wants to be answered. Please be sure that the things are not that complicated as they might seem to you now. We want everything to be clear to you and all of your questions to be answered. In this page the most frequently asked questions are listed, and answers are provided for all of them. There is also an option for you to ask a question in the form bellow, so please feel free to use it.
I'm 17 years old. Can I get a driving license?
On 1 January 2017, a trial scheme started, where you can get a driving license as a 17-year-old, and then drive a car with an experienced driver as a companion until you turn 18.
In this way, the young driver gets training in driving together with an adult who can help and give good advice along the way. Only when you are 18 years old are you allowed to drive alone.
Do I have to take a first aid course to get a driver's license?
Yes, it is a legal requirement with a first aid course. If you have not taken a course when you start with us, we can offer you the course as part of our teaching.
Is there a time limit for how long I can take to get a driver's license?
No, but no more than 12 months must elapse from the time you pass the theory test to the time you pass the driving test.
Can I choose which of your cars I want to take my driving license in?
Yes, but you must drive the same car throughout your schooling.
How many times is it allowed to fail the theory test?
I go to high school. Can I take my driving lessons in my spare time?
I don't speak English, can I still take a driving licence?
Are we going to learn how to drive on the highway?
Yes, it is part of the legally required training that we must drive on the motorway.
